I have terrible vision. Maybe my mom didn't eat enough carrots or something during pregnancy. Maybe I should get LASIC. Maybe I should just rejoice now that I've discovered the first awesome pair of eyeglasses I've ever owned. That's right, I've been rockin' glasses since I was in pre-school and here I am barely 28 years old and I've finally met my eyewear match: Tortoise & Blonde.
It's a new eyewear company I learned about in the process of creating Style X and I fell in love the second they showed me the frames at the Ace Hotel in Manhattan several months ago. The response at Style X was tremendous, both from musicians like Pearl And The Beard and shoppers and fans, and I can see why now that I have my own pair: The Quincy (in True Tortoise, online starting at just $97).
With a look like this and a price like that, I'm pretty sure I can ditch any plans I ever had for LASIC and stick to T&B. Their tag line: "One Today, Another Tomorrow" has me thinking I'll be buying frames about as often as I buy sneakers...

When it comes to glasses, you really know how to choose a good one. And it's even more amazing that this was your first pair.

Your glasses may come as a bit pricey for some, but they're definitely worth it. I don't see much of these frames around, and that makes it a great purchase. It perfectly frames your eyes, and glasses made of that material are light and comfortable.

Hmm, that's more expensive than the others. Well, it shows. The design looks really manly. Can the lenses be changed? It's somewhat cool to turn it into a sunglasses during summertime. :D

You're speaking a language only my optometrist knows.

You look like you're about a -6 or -7 myope (nearsighted). Is that right?
