Every week for the last several years, I've forced myself to write 10,000 words a week. Some of these are notes that I save on my phone or in emails to myself, but some of it is what ends up being what I post here in Facebook or on LinkedIn/Medium and the like. I love to write. After Localeur, I may spend a good bit of time focusing solely on writing. Or maybe I'll do it more aggressively during my next venture. Either way, what I've come to learn about writing is that writing is not only a release of thought, introspection and experience, but also a place where I hone in on my voice both internally and externally. It's helped me a ton with relationships, with business and with community building around various projects. The pen is mightier than the sword. I truly believe that and I know that - if someone does me wrong - I can use this skill and whatever audience I've built to completely eviscerate someone, but I mostly appreciate writing as a way to express myself, share my journey and inspire or inform others, particularly people in my network. I hope that some of it connects with you, but all of it connects with me, which is why I keep doing it whether I get one like or a thousand.
