I spent some time today walking around Downtown Greenville, a part of town I always loved growing up here, and venturing around all the great brick buildings with my mom. These were all taken with my iPhone 5S using VSCO as listed. I don't think I'll ever take photos as good as my friends @masterwilliams or @niraj26 but I wanted to capture my favorite buildings in the beautiful downtown area of the city I grew up in. I used to go to shows, watch fireworks and spend countless hours around here at Coffee Underground.
Landed just after sunset and my best friend Colby picked me up. The whole trip started a couple of months back when Colby phoned me from Afghanistan and said, "Would you come to Lake Como while I'm on leave?" My answer. "Yes, of course." I haven't seen the guy in two years since I was the best man in his wedding.
And, seriously, how could I ever pass up Como? I've always wanted to go to Italy, but I think this beats the family vacation in Rome by a long shot, sorry.
I even managed to allow myself some Coca-Cola.
This one isn't George Clooney's house, but we did stop by to say hello. From the boat.
The place in Alassio was almost as good, but was further from the water.
But I made use of the nearby pool.
I took the train from Alassio to Milan after saying goodbye to Colby and Sarah.
But ditched the train in Milan to take a Smart car up to Geneva for the day.
Instagramming the odometer turnt all the way up. Probably got a tunnel ticket for that one.
Such a beautiful night I spent with the Swiss.
I found a club that I felt a kinship towards.
And a shop that reminded me how much I missed home.
